Abode Services Helping Homeless Santa Clara County Families Find Homes

More than a dozen previously homeless families from Santa Clara County are now living in their own homes, and up to 90 more could be transitioning from homelessness to a home in the next six months through a new program administered by Abode Services.

"In the beginning, it was a very simple, shelter-focused, crisis-oriented organization that was reacting to a problem," Executive Director Louis Chicoine said. "But we were initially successful because people were ready and willing to find and support a different way." 

A Week of Awareness

Educate. Advocate. Let's End Homelessness!

We’re proud to be part of the National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week!  We're planning several activities throughout the week including a "Feed Your Soul" performance night at Mission Coffee on Thursday, November 20th, at 7 p.m. and a candlelight vigil at St. James' Episcopal Church on Friday, November 21st, at 7 p.m.
