Thank you for your interest in donating to people in need this holiday season. There are many ways that you can help the homeless and formerly homeless families and individuals who use our programs. To name just a few:
- Donate gift cards (in $25 - $50 denominations) from area stores – Walmart, Target, Payless ShoeSource, etc. – in order to help families purchase the items they need. Cards can be delivered to Sunrise Village Emergency Shelter, 588 Brown Road in Fremont.
- Give online – your gift could be matched by The Sobrato Family Foundation!
- Donate in honor of a friend or family member – just let us know when you make your donation, and we will send the honoree a letter acknowledging the gift.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s donated in-kind items (including food, blankets, toys, and more) to Abode Services this holiday season. Unfortunately, due to limited storage space, we will be unable to accept any more in-kind donations this year after Monday, December 5th, unless you have previously made arrangements with us.
