Main Street Village - Fremont, CA

Main Street Village is a new green-certified permanent supportive housing complex for homeless and low-income families and individuals in Fremont's Irvington District. This 89,379 square foot complex consists of two 3-story buildings, with a large community room, meeting rooms, computer room, resident services offices and a central outdoor area with community gardens, walking paths and a tot lot. On the ground floor of the main building, there is a small health clinic and additional office space for Abode Services' service providers, who will assist residents and other clients with special needs.

The complex, constructed between May 2010 and August 2011, will serve an estimated 75 adults and 85 children in any given year. Main Street Village is the sixth and largest permanent supportive housing complex developed by Allied Housing. For this project, we have partnered with Mid-Peninsula Housing Corporation, which will provide property management. On-site social services at Main Street Village will be provided by Abode Services.

Main Street Village's new inhabitants are currently in the process of taking residence. Over 2,000 applications were submitted earlier this year for the 63 units available.
