Ms. Dias brings with her a background in affordable multi-family housing development in the East Bay. She is a founding principal of an Oakland-based architecture firm focused on serving local non-profit developers. A certified Green Building Professional, Ms. Ballard Dias is also dedicated to implementing sustainable building principles as a standard for future development.
Hirendra Hindocha - 2nd Vice-President
CEO, Digital Nirvana
Mr. Hindocha is an entrepreneur and has served as CEO of
Digital Nirvana, Inc. for the past eight years. He holds a
Masters in Computer and Information Science. Along with his
strong technology background, Mr. Hindocha brings a variety
of skills in strategy, planning, administration and
management.
John R. Smith - Secretary
Realtor, Better Homes and Gardens
Mr. Smith is presently employed as a realtor with Prudential
CA Realty. He formerly served as a Merchandise/Marketing
Manager for Levi Straus & Co for 23 years. John and his wife
Sybil have lived in Fremont for 32 years. He is a community activist, member of the Alameda
County Democratic Party and League of Women Voters.
Dr. Teresa Yin -

Chiropractor
Dr. Yin has been operating her own
chiropractic clinic in Fremont since 1999. She is a graduate of
Mission San Jose High School and UCLA and has been actively
involved in community service for over 10 years. She brings with
her experience from Citizens for Better Community (CBC),
Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation, and SAVE.
David Bonaccorsi
Partner, Bernard, Balgley & Bonaccorsi, LLP
Mr. Bonaccorsi has been practicing law
in the Tri-Cities since 1987 and currently serves on the Fremont
Planning Commission. He was the past President and Board member
of the Fremont Education Foundation and co-chair of the
successful Fremont Unified School District $157.2 million Health
and Safety Bond campaign. Mr. Bonaccorsi has extensive
experience in local civic, community and non-profit
organizations, and the interrelationship between law and public
policy.
Maribel Castaneda-Sargent
AVP/Market Support Consultant, Wells Fargo
Ms. Castaneda-Sargent has been working for Wells Fargo since
1997, and currently supports 14 different locations in the East
Bay. She is a graduate of Cal State East Bay, and has a B.A. in
Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources. She
has been involved in community service through Wells Fargo by
volunteering at the Bay Area Rescue Mission, Berkeley Food and
Housing Project, MedShare and Junior Achievement.
Richard Godfrey
Physician (Retired) / Community Volunteer
Dr. Godfrey's background is in surgical oncology. He recently
retired after 21 years with Kaiser Permanente, and now works
part time with the Alameda County Medical Center as a volunteer
and as Executive Director of the East Bay Foundation for
Graduate Medical Education, representing the UCSF - East Bay
Surgical Residency Program. He is currently active in many
nonprofits, including Rotary, Local Ecology and Agriculture
Fremont (LEAF), Tri-City Ecology, East Bay Regional Parks
Advisory Committee, Healing Muses and Hospital Familia, and
leads international work in Kenya and Central America.
Hattie Hyman Hughes
Senior Vice President, Community Outreach, Fremont Bank
Ms. Hughes oversees Fremont Bank's corporate giving program
and is the president of Fremont Bank Foundation, a long-time
supporter of Abode Services. She served as the chair of the $1.2
million capital campaign for the construction of the Rotary
Bridgeway East Apartments. She brings an extensive knowledge of
local nonprofit organizations and many years of experience in
leveraging impact through collaboration with other community
partners.
Irene Koehler
Social Media Coach, Almost Savvy
Ms. Koehler brings a
wealth of experience from her many years in the human resources
field. In addition, she has recently chaired the City of
Fremont's Celebrate Fremont, a celebration to recognize
the City's 50th anniversary, and the City of Fremont's Human
Relations Commission.
Ronald Krigbaum
Community Volunteer
Mr. Krigbaum has 30
years of experience in real estate investment, and has been
self-employed since the age of 17. He attended Sequoia High
School and American River College. Mr. Krigbaum currently serves as a
volunteer case manager for Tri-Cities Youth Court and donates
time to build houses for Habitat for Humanity.

Raj Salwan
Veterinarian, American Animal Care
Dr. Salwan is a Veterinarian at American Animal Care in
Fremont and Companion Animal Hospital in San Carlos. He is
presently the Chairperson for the Human Relations Commission of
the City of Fremont. He also has a real estate background and
is an independent sales agent.
Brianne Steinhauser
Project Manager, Housing Consortium of the East Bay
Ms. Steinhauser is a Project Manager for a local non-profit
organization that creates affordable housing for people with
special needs. She has a Master’s Degree in Architecture and
worked for 8 years in the field before moving to the non-profit
sector. She is dedicated to exploring the pragmatic and
emotional links between people and "home".
Bryant Welch
Chief of Human Resources, Washington Hospital Healthcare
System
A graduate of San Jose State University, Mr. Welch brings a
broad base of Human Resources experience to the Board of
Directors. He has extensive experience in all facets of human
resources and specializes in healthcare management.
